2. Pre-Launch and Product Development
ChineseUnfolded is currently in an early access phase. The course content and learning platform are actively being developed, and new materials, modules, and features are released on a rolling basis. By purchasing access during this phase, you acknowledge and accept that:
(a) Not all course content and platform features described in our materials are available at the time of purchase. Content and features are added progressively as development continues.
(b) The platform and course materials may be subject to changes, improvements, and updates during the development period. We will always aim to improve the quality and scope of what is available.
(c) Early access is offered at a reduced price specifically in recognition of the pre-launch nature of the product. Lifetime access to all current and future content, including all modules and platform updates as they are released, is included in your purchase.
(d) We will communicate significant updates regarding new content releases by email.
Early access customers receive the same personal support as customers who join after full launch.
3. Learning Platform and Account Data
Access to the ChineseUnfolded learning platform at https://app.chineseunfolded.com is included with your course purchase. The platform tracks your individual learning progress, including character and vocabulary study records, flashcard review history, and display preferences. This data is associated with your account and is not transferable between accounts.
Upon request, we will provide you with a copy of your personal learning data or delete it from our systems. To make such a request, contact us at [email protected]. Account deletion will result in permanent loss of your stored learning progress and cannot be reversed.
Platform access is personal and non-transferable. Sharing your login credentials with others is not permitted.
4. Intellectual Property and License
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, videos, design, layout, trademarks, logos, and other materials (“Content”) are the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Site and Content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Subscription-based services will be clearly marked and will not renew without explicit consent. Failed payments may result in suspension of access.
